Configuring 2Checkout Payment Plug-in

2Checkout.com, Inc. (2CO) is the online distribution center for over 300,000 tangible or digital products and services. Established in 1999 and headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, 2CO provides turnkey e-commerce solutions to thousands of business customers around the world.

To start accepting online payments via the 2Checkout payment gateway, please visit the 2Checkout website and sign up. After your 2Checkout account is set up, you will obtain the Merchant ID (numerical identifier) and the URL to the 2Checkout payment gateway, which should be indicated in the 2Checkout plug-in configuration form.

Important: Please configure your 2Checkout account properly:

  1. Go to the 2Checkout plug-in configuration screen in HSPcomplete, configure the plug-in as this described below and save changes.
  2. Open the plug-in details (view screen) and copy the URL shown on the 2Checkout plug-in screen in the Data Return URL field. Please note that the Data Return URL appears only after you fill all the fields in the plug-in configuration form and save changes.

  5. Create a new Product. While creating a new product, specify the following values for the product parameters:

Important: Before you Activate the 2Checkout Plug-in, Check the Default Currency on the Gateway Side

2Checkout gateway always uses the default currency set in the Bank Account & Payment Details in your seller account profile. 2Checkout always assumes that all transactions sent to the gateway are in this default currency and the original currency used in seller's store is not passed to the gateway. Thus, it is very important that the default currency set on the 2Checkout gateway side matches the currency used in HSPcomplete. So, if you decide to change the currency used in HSPcomplete, then you must recalculate all the prices in your store in accordance with the currencies cross-rate, change the HSPcomplete system-wide currency and after this, log in to the 2Checkout Sellers Area and reset the default currency in accordance with your new currency.

To reset the default currency used by 2Checkout gateway:

  1. Log in to the 2Checkout Merchant Interface and follow the Bank Account & Payment Details link.
  2. Select the default currency from the Prefers to display in drop-down menu. However, before you confirm the changes we recommend you to click the READ THIS FIRST link next to the drop-down menu and read the Currency Warning provided by 2CheckOut.

Then you can configure the plug-in as this described below. After the plug-in is configured, you can activate it and start accepting payments in your HSPstore via 2Checkout.

To configure the 2Checkout payment plug-in:

  1. Click the Edit button on the plug-in screen. Fill the form that appears:

In the General settings section of the form:
